Essay

Argumentative essay should include ‘for’ and ‘against’ arguments related to given issue.

e.g. Advantages and disadvantages of working in corporation.

Layout

Essay should have following parts:

Introduction. It is a part of our essay in which it is a must to include issue from the topic. It is important not to write about our personal opinion about it.

Main body. This part consists of few paragraphs with ‘for’ and ‘against’ argument.

Conclusion. There should be a short summary at the end of our essay. It can also be a personal opinion about the issue.

Remember !

ü  Arguments should be supported with examples, statistics, facts etc.

ü  Use formal language e.g. I am instead of I’m

Example (Advantages and Disadvantages of having a computer)

Introduction.

Have you ever imegined your life without computers. They are very useful but they may also bring some problems in our life or development. Let's discuss advantages and disadvantages of using them. -
